Cookie
notice
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This page lists what goyachtislandweek.eu stores and what you can do about it. How we handle personal data in general is covered in our privacy policy.
Necessary
These make the site work. They do not identify you and cannot be switched off.
- WordPress — session and security cookies, set when you submit a form.
- Contact Form 7 — processes the form and prevents the same submission being sent twice.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from and what device they use. It sets cookies in the _ga family, which last up to two years, and the data is kept for no longer than 14 months.
We do not use analytics for advertising and we do not build profiles of individual visitors. If you turn analytics off, the site works exactly the same.
Embedded content
The Instagram feed on the homepage loads images and scripts from Instagram and Meta, which may set their own cookies. The same applies to the fonts and scripts the site loads from Google Fonts and jsDelivr. We do not control what those services store — their own privacy policies apply.
How to turn cookies off
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; every current browser has a privacy section for it. Blocking the necessary ones may stop the booking form working.
To switch off Google Analytics everywhere, Google publishes a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
