What we collect and why
Availability requests
When you send an availability request we collect your name, e-mail address, phone number including the dial code, the week and dates you are asking about, the number of people, and anything you write in the message field.
If you tick I am booking this for a company we also collect the company name, VAT number, company registration number, billing address and, where you give one, a separate invoicing e-mail address.
Why: to answer your enquiry, check availability and prepare a booking. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Company billing details are also processed to meet our invoicing obligations, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Partner enquiries
Name, company or brand, e-mail, phone, VAT number, what you are interested in, and the commercial details you choose to give us: weeks, expected volume, markets, channel, reach, brand, link and message.
Why: to respond and to negotiate a commercial arrangement. Legal basis: steps before a contract and our legitimate interest in running the business, Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
Crew applications
Name, e-mail, phone, the role you are applying for, the weeks you can work, languages, licences and certificates, previous experience, a link to your portfolio or Instagram, and your CV if you attach one.
Why: to assess your application and contact you about seasonal work. Legal basis: steps before an employment contract, and your consent for us to keep the application on file for the 2027 season.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and how you arrived. Legal basis: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time; see the cookie notice.
Who else sees your data
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that make the website and our follow-up work possible:
- Website hosting — the provider that hosts goyachtislandweek.eu. Form submissions are stored in the website database.
- E-mail delivery — the mail service configured for the site, used to send the confirmation to you and the notification to us.
- Make (automation) and Raynet (our CRM) — your enquiry is passed into our customer records so we can follow it up.
- Google — analytics. This involves a transfer to the United States, covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- The crew running your week, where that is needed to deliver the trip.
We also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to tax authorities or in response to a lawful request.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become a booking — 12 months from our last contact with you.
- Bookings — for as long as Czech accounting and tax law requires us to keep the records.
- Crew applications — until the end of the 2027 season, or sooner if you ask us to delete them.
- Analytics — no longer than 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to someone else. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time — withdrawing does not affect anything we did before.
Write to info@goyachtislandweek.eu and we will answer within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, ÚOOÚ, uoou.gov.cz) or to the supervisory authority in the country where you live.
